Emergency Response & Preparedness

The Emergency Response & Preparedness course is an internationally accredited, highly practical 1-day programme that equips organisations and individuals to plan, train, and respond effectively to fires, medical emergencies, chemical spills, evacuations, and other major incidents. Fully aligned with Bahrain Civil Defence, Saudi Civil Defence (SFDA), NFPA 1600, Aramco General Instruction GI 6.030, and local labour laws, this course combines classroom planning with live drills, tabletop exercises, and real emergency equipment so every participant leaves ready to protect lives and assets when disaster strikes.

Course Outcomes:

• Conduct an emergency risk assessment and identify credible scenarios
• Develop and document site-specific emergency response plans (ERP)
• Establish clear roles: Incident Commander, wardens, first aiders, spill team
• Design effective evacuation routes, assembly points, and head-count systems
• Select and use emergency communication tools and alarm systems
• Plan and lead realistic fire, spill, medical, and evacuation drills
• Coordinate with Civil Defence, ambulances, and external responders
• Conduct post-incident debriefs and update plans based on lessons learned
• Achieve full compliance during Civil Defence and client emergency audits

Target Audience

This course is essential for emergency response team members, fire wardens, safety officers, facility managers, HR personnel, and senior management in high-rise buildings, factories, warehouses, schools, hospitals, hotels, oil & gas facilities, and construction sites across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. It is a mandatory requirement for obtaining or renewing Civil Defence licences, Aramco/SABIC contractor approval, and for companies preparing for SFDA, Ministry of Labour, or third-party emergency preparedness audits in Manama, Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, and throughout the Kingdom.
